When visiting Carbon County, be sure to check out downtown Jim Thorpe! The area is home to many shops including: book stores, antique stores, record stores, candy shops, and many more. Downtown Jim Thorpe is also known to host festivals and other events. You can take a ride on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway, and eat at one of the many restaurants. Be sure to stay for when the trees lining Broadway light up brightly.
